National Electric Power Regulatory Authority is mandated to deal with the matters pertaining to generation, transmission and distribution of electric power services; requires the services of suitable Professionals / Staff for its Head Office/Regional Offices:-

Post Eligibility Criteria
Senior Advisor (Hydro) Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent education from any reputable institution duly recognized from HEC. Candidates having higher qualification or foreign degrees may be given preference. Must be registered with PEC.
Experience:
A Minimum of 30 years of relevant post qualification experience in Power Sector, most of which should be dealing with the development, design and operation of the hydropower project. Involved in the preparation of feasibility studies, Power Purchase Agreements and costmg issues of hydropower projects. Should have thorough knowledge of different technologies and their operating characteristics with regard to location i.e. high head run of the river and performance under storage availability.
Experience of small hydropower projects operating off-grid will be considered as additional advantage. To he able to assist the Authority in issuing guidelines and standards operating procedures to promote the development of a market, including trading, in accordance with the national electricity policy and the national electricity plan. Must have excellent statistical and analytical skills.
Deputy Director Bachelors in (Computer Engineering) or equivalent 16 years education from a reputable University or Institute recognized by HEC. Candidates having higher qualification or foreign degree will be given preference. Candidates must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council.
Experience:
Candidates having relevant post-qualification experience of the five years in the IT Sector should apply. Moreover candidates having experience in the Power Sector/DISCOs. Regulatory Authority, IT and adjudication will be given preference.
Assistant Director (Tariff)  Bachelors of Business Administration Finance / ACCA/ CA or equivalent 16 Years education from a reputable University or Institute recognized by HEC. Candidates having higher qualification or foreign degree will be given preference.
Experience:
Candidates having relevant post-qualification experience Tariff determinations will be given preference.
Assistant Director (CSR)  16 years of education in Social Sciences preferably in Development Communications, International Relations, Development Studies. Project Management. Environmental Science or related disciplines from a reputable University or Institute recognized by HEC. Candidates having higher qualification or foreign degree will be given preference.
Experience:
Preference will be given to employees who have following post-qualification experiences:
Experience in monitoring and evaluation, results based management and impact analysis;
Excellent drafting and analytical skill in drafting concept notes. proposals and reports;
Sound knowledge of making development plans, drafting communication work plans and strategy to promote CSR programs on multiple forums:
Knowledge and experience in designing M&E systems. frameworks and conducting evaluations:
Progressively responsible experience in providing strategic support to research and data analysis, knowledge management or project management in the context of development cooperation. environment or social safeguards related area is required. Experience in handling of web-based data management systems is an asset.
Experience working within the Development agencies in the relevant field is an asset.
Assistant Director (IT)  Bachelors in (Computer Engineering) or equivalent 16 years education from a reputable University or Institute recognized by HEC. Candidates having higher qualification or foreign degree will he given preference. Candidates must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council.
Experience:
Candidates having relevant post-qualification experience of the Power Sector/DISCOs, Regulatory Authority, IT and adjudication will be given preference.
Assistant Director (Technical)  Bachelors in (Electrical Engineering) or equivalent 16 years education from a reputable University or Institute recognized by HEC. Candidates having higher qualification or foreign degree will be given preference. Candidates must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council.
Experience:
Candidates having relevant post-qualification experience of the Power Sector/DISCOs, Regulatory Authority. Consumer Relations and adjudication will be given preference.
Assistant Director (Occupational Health and Safety)  Bachelors in (Engineering) or equivalent 16 years education from a reputable University or Institute recognized by HEC. Candidates having electrical degree. higher qualification or foreign degree will be given preference. Candidates must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council.
Experience:
Preference will be given to candidates having relevant post-qualification experience of Occupational Health & Safety in the Power Sector/DISCOS. Regulatory Authority, and having certifications of OSHA. NEBCSH. OHSAS-18001,150-45001 or any other OH&S qualifications including knowledge of international standards and codes such as IEEE. IEC NFPA and other applicable legal requirements.
Technical Assistant  16 years education from a reputable University or Institute recognized by HEC. Candidates having higher qualification or foreign degree will be given preference.
Candidates must have relevant 7 years post-qualification experience of office works. research, statistical and analytical skills and Information & Technology skills: with excellent English speaking and writing skills. Must have at least 40 words per minutes typing speed.
Junior Executive  Minimum Requisite Qualification:
Intermediate with computer skills and typing speed over 40 words per minute.
Experience:
Candidates must have relevant 3 years post-qualification experience of handling the telephone exchange; with excellent English speaking and writing skills.
Dispatch Rider Minimum Requisite Qualification: (Interviews Only) Matriculation with driving License of motorbike.
Experience:
Candidates must have relevant 3 years’ experience.
Front Desk Executive Minimum Requisite Qualification: (Interviews Only) Bachelors Degree with computer skills.
Experience:
Candidates must have relevant 5 years post- qualification experience of handing the telephone exchange; with excellent English speaking and writing skills.
Naib Qasid  Minimum Requisite Qualification: (Interviews Only)
Experience:
Candidates having relevant post-qualification experience of office work will be given preference.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Age will be counted up to closing date fixed for receipt of applications.
  2. Selected candidates will be posted at Head Office/Regional Offices or anywhere in Pakistan as per requirement of the organization.
  3. Applicant shall present a set of attested copies of Degree/Certificate issued by HEC/Recognized Board/Universities/Institutes and other relevant documents at the time of interview. In case of any information furnished by the applicant is found fake or bogus, candidature of the particular candidate shall stand cancelled and legal action shall be taken against the particular candidate at any stage.
  4. The candidates are required to mention the post applied for on the right top corner of the envelope.
  5. Incomplete applications and those received after the closing date will not be entertained.
  6. In case of suitable candidate, the Authority may relax age limit and experience up to three (03) years.

  9. No TA/DA will be admissible for written test/interview.
