EDUCATION EXPERT – TELECOM FOUNDATION

JOB BRIEF

We are looking for an Education expert to oversee all aspects of educational practices and processes at Head Office TF, by supervising Telecom Foundation School System (TFSS).

What is an Education Expert?

To us, an Education Expert is the person with a strategic vision for the Schools of TF. This means that Education Expert will involve in managing activities such as curriculum standardization, examinations, policy making, students moral ethical and character building practices, recruitment of teachers, School’s performance  evaluation,  training  /  personnel  development  of  teachers  and talent management. Best candidate must be an expert in formulation of all related policies.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of Education Expert include, but not limited to:

  • Plan and schedule activities (curricular & co-curricular) for academic calendar for
  • Preparation of school Evaluation Mechanism (in terms of administration, teacher’s performance, student’s affairs) through specially planned feedback
  • Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for proposed methods / processes (in terms of curriculum, examination system, class management, method of teaching, evaluation record keeping, student ethics and character building policies etc) as per latest trends & technologies.
  • Devise mechanism for standardization of Schools administration in terms of students, staff & teachers affairs (i.e ethics and moral code of conduct, advertisements, lessons planning, new admissions, strategy of work load, division of syllabus, copy checking, results compilation, question paper standard, examination system etc).
  • Revision of syllabus (from time to time) for specific skill development for expert

Requirements

We are looking for Regional / Divisional Head to oversee all aspects of TF Businesses in respective areas.

What is a Regional / Divisional Head?

The Regional / Divisional Head will be looking after all business affairs in respective area. Telecom Foundation has regional divisional units in North, Central and South regions of the country that undertake technology and civil works projects, including core areas of telecom optical fiber network development and laying. This involves working with operators, regulators and association of services providers.

The Foundation also has a Corporate Supply Services Center, a division that deals in supply services to the corporate sector, in particular to the construction and telecom sector, including services such as skilled manpower, machinery, tools, etc.

Telecom Foundation also houses an Institute for Professional Training that provides technical and management training to professionals from the corporate sector across the country.

We are looking for experienced multi-disciplined and dynamic leaders who can head the above units with a view to establishing a sustainable growth in them. These positions head the self-maintained units with their indigenous finance, HR & Administration, operations and sales teams.

Responsibilities 

  • Design & Develop multiple projects across all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, deployment, training and change management
  • Create, manage and track projects, including project schedules, detailed project plans, project scope statements, cost estimates, resource plans, risk & issues logs and Status reports
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of projects and project team members; communicate with project teams as necessary to ensure project deliverables are on schedule and within cost parameters

What a Network / System Engineer will do:

 Telecom Foundation is going through digital transformation across the country. This opportunity will entail execution of the digital transformation. The opportunity will be on a contract basis.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting Software and Hardware problems, individually or as a team.
  • Managing / Dealing with on-site users and policies
  • Troubleshooting expertise of Windows 7/10 and Mac Proficiency with computers and industry-related software, especially MS
  • Hardware troubleshooting knowledge for computers and Audio/Video devices.
  • Strong knowledge of Networks having Excellent Communication
  • Perform routine monitoring and maintenance of network
  • Proactively identify, diagnose, analyze and troubleshoot issues with IP/Data/MPLS VPN. Hands On experience on Cisco switches L2, L3 and Firewalls.
