A public sector organization is looking for a dynamic, energetic and outstanding candidate having in-depth understanding of both, the public and corporate sector financial management, for appointment as Director General Finance on contract basis.. a period of three years.
The position will serve to ensure effective operations of the entire landscape of the Organization including budgeting, auditing, assistance to senior management in negotiations with national and international agencies for procuring financial resources, repayment schedules, pricing for services produced, budget implementation, maintaining and closing the accounts; managing resources related services such as human resources in the finance and information technology/ERP for use through-out the organization, cash ow management and forecasting needs. Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions within the Public Financial Management laws, policies and procedures. Deployment of internal controls to ensure compliance with the National and or International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IFFIS and IAS) etc.
Qualification and Experience
Candidates holding Masters’ or higher degrees in Finance, Accounting, Auditing or Business Administration with proven and verifiable successful track record and leadership experience in relevant fields may apply. Candidate holding CA and FCMA would be preferred.
Candidate must have at least 15 years’ progressively esponsible experience in accounting, auditing, financial policies and procedures, planning, design, development, implementation, maintenance and support of ERP system and infrastructure in public/private sector at provincial/ national level.
