Note:
- Candidates applying for Pharmacy, Veterinary and Engineering discipline(s) will also submit a copy of registration certificate of Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (PCP), Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC) and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), respectively along with the application.
- Any graduate of the IUB shall not be eligible for appointment on tenure track in the same department of the University where he/she has obtained his/her terminal degree for at least 3 years following his/her graduation.
- Detailed terms and conditions for appointment under TTS may also be seen on the Higher Education Commission (HEC) website: (www.hec.gov.pk).
- The foreign qualified candidates should attach Equivalence Certificate from the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC).
- In case, degree has not been issued, a Certificate /Notification to that effect signed by the Controller of Examination (only) of degree awarding university might be accepted. In all cases, statement of experience must be supported by certificates from the employers.
- 5% Quota for Minorities and 3 % Quota for disable will be implemented, where applicable.
How to apply:
- All the candidates have to apply online through IUB website eportal.iub.edu.pk.
- The candidates have also to submit 05 complete sets of applications for the post of Professor & Associate Professor, 03 sets for the post of Assistant Professor and 2 sets for remaining positions bearing attested copies of degrees, certificates, one photograph for each set and one copy of the online challan (non-refundable) amounting of Rs. 5000/- for the post of Professor & Associate Professor, Rs. 3000/- for the post of Assistant Professor till 25.08.2020 last date for submission of online applications, followed by submission of hard copy dully signed online application form along with attested copies of testimonials till 28.08.2020 at HR- Faculty Section, Abbasia Campus, IUB. The Candidate applying for the Posts of Professor Regular/Contract/TTS and Associate Professor on TTS shall also have to submit softcopy of their dossier in PDF format on a CD along with application.
- Candidates applying for non-teaching position have to submit online applications alongwith online challan (non-refundable) for the post of Director amounting of Rs. 3000/- for the Post of Manager Corporate Legal Trainings Wings & Program Manager Rs. 2000/- and Rs. 1500/- for the post of Program Coordinator till 21.07.2020 last date for submission of online applications, followed by submission of hard copy dully signed online application form along with attested copies of testimonials till 24.07.2020 at HR- Establishment Section, Abbasia Campus, IUB.
- Candidates already in service should apply through proper channel, by due date and submit service certificates issued by their present and former employers otherwise their applications will not be entertained.
- Candidates applying on Regular basis, TTS and Contract basis should apply separately and clearly mention the Post, Campus, Department & Mode of Appointment (Regular Basis/TTS/Contract Basis). Prescribed application forms can be obtained from the office of the undersigned or can be downloaded from the IUB website :(www.iub.edu.pk).
- Candidates applying for more than one post and for each campus shall submit separate application form(s) along with separate application processing fee.
2. The University reserves the rights:
- Not to fill/withdraw any advertised post / withhold the appointment against any post, without assigning any reason thereof or consider a person for appointment in a lower cadre against the post advertised.
- To shortlist the candidates on the basis of academic qualifications and experience. Only short-listed candidates will be called for interview.
- Â To increase or decrease the number of vacancies as per availability of funds.
- Nature of posts can be changed according to the need of the University.
- The University is not responsible if call letters are not received due to any lapse of Courier Agency /Post Office / Telephonic Message & call.
3. Applications will be received only through registered mail / courier etc. By hand application will not be accepted. IUB employees willing to apply are directed to submit their application Through Proper Channel.
4. All others in service applicants will have to attach NOC and service certificate from their employer along with the application, advance copy of application will not be entertained.
5. Applicants are directed to clearly mention the Name of the Post applied for, Campus Name, and Mode of Appointment on the top right corner of the envelope.
6. Incomplete applications or applications received after due date will not be entertained.
