Applications are invited from suitable candidates on prescribed form available to download from the University Official Website for appointment against the following posts in the University of Engineering and Technology Mardan. Application form, duly filled in all respect, along-with application fee (non-refundable) of Rs. 2500/- for S. No. 1, Rs. 2000/- for S. No. 2, 3 and 4 must be deposited in any branch of Bank of Khyber, (throughout Pakistan) in the University Account titled “Miscellaneous Fund UETM” Brach Code.0179, Account No.00908-00-1. The requisite qualification and experience, against each post, is given below:
Assistant Professor (BPS-19)
(3 Years Contract)
(i) Department of Computer Science (01 Post)
(ii) Department of Civil Engineering (01 Post)
(iii) Department of Mechanical Engineering (01 Post) Age limit: Up to 40 years
Qualification & Experience
(i) Ph.D. in the relevant field.
(ii) No experience is required.
Lecturer (BPS-18)
(Regular)
Department of Computer Science Age limit: Up to 35 years
Qualification & Experience
(i) Master’s Degree (First Class) in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career.
(ii) No experience is required.
Lecturer (BPS-18)
(3 Years Contract)
(i) Department of Civil Engineering (02 Posts)
(ii) Department of Mechanical Engineering (02 Posts) Age limit: Up to 35 years
Qualification & Experience
(i) Master’s Degree (First Class) in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career.
(ii) No experience is required.
Lab Engineer (BPS-17)
(3 Years Contract)
(i) Department of Civil Engineering (02 Posts)
(ii) Department of Mechanical Engineering (02 Posts)
Qualification & Experience
(i) First Class Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field or 2.5 CGPA out of 4.0 from an HEC recognized University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career.
(ii) PEC Registration card in relevant field is mandatory.
Note:
- Eligible candidates should submit their application forms along with attested photocopies of all educational testimonials (i.e., Degrees/Certificates, Transcripts/DMCs), Experience Certificates, CNIC, one recent photograph, Pakistan Engineering Council Certificate/Card in the relevant field (if required), Certificate of Distinction (if any), documented proof of Research Project Completed (if any) and original fee deposit receipt in office of the Registrar, UET Mardan on or before: 06-11-2020.
- For Assistant Professor/Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering and Department of Mechanical Engineering, PEC Registration card in Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, respectively, is mandatory.
- Only those qualifications, experiences & publication(s) etc. will be considered, if documentary proof is attached up to the last date of submission of applications.
- In-service candidates must apply through proper channel. They must also submit No Objection Certificate from their concerned departments/organizations along with their application form.
- Age relaxation will be considered in light of government rules on case to case basis.
- Only short listed candidates, who meet the criteria, will be called for tests/interview.
- The candidates applying for more than one posts are required to submit separate applications along-with original bank receipt for each post.
- In-case any educational document or any other document provided by the applicants is found incorrect/fake at any stage, the candidate will be disqualified immediately.
