The Government of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, represented by the Government of Balochistan, has received a loan (Cr: No: 5885-PAK) from the International Development Association towards the cost of Balochistan Integrated Water Resource Management and Development Project (BIWRMDP) and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments for hiring the services of following specialist to work with the Project Management Unit as an Individual Consultant:
Title of Position: Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist
Minimum Qualification and Experience:-
M.Sc. in Social Sciences/Development Studies/Rural Development; 15 years of post-M.Sc. experience, at least 5 years of which should be in the public private sector and/or development sector; Ph.D. in relevant fields is an advantage; Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of local languages is an advantage; Familiarity with various methods of quantitative and qualitative methods of M&E including those of participatory nature, Experienced in community driven development projects funded by international donors; General understanding of IWRM principles and their implication on natural resources use; Awareness and understanding of Pakistan’s national water resources development strategy; Experience in socioeconomic development of Balochistan is an advantage.
The Government of Balochistan, represented by the Project Director, Balochistan Integrated Water Resource Management and Development Project (BIWRMDP) now invites eligible individuals to indicate their interest in providing the services.
