Human Appeal Pakistan is looking for  dynamic, motivated, experienced and energetic candidate(s) to join the HA-Pak Family at the “Country Office” Islamabad and filed office Rahimyar Khan.

Job Title Media and Communications Officer
Department:  Program
Position  Type:  Full Time
Contract: One Year (Extendable on need based) 
 Salary: PKR: 40,000/- to PKR: 60,000 /Per Month (On experience bases)
Reports To: Head of Programmes

Position Summary

The position requires to document & promote Human Appeal’s programmes & impacts in Pakistan and across the globe. The role will conceptualize, plan and implement the organizations internal and external communications building on the project successes and lessons learned & will support programmes in progress reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

This role is responsible and accountable for but not limited to the following:

  • Support programmes in developing projects’ narrative, quarterly & annual
  • Manage the day-to-day internal and external communications and profiling initiatives of the
  • Develop and share success stories, case studies to enhance the visibility and projection of HA’s activities in the country.
  • Conduct meetings with field offices, develop action plans, manage follow-ups and disseminate information to relevant stakeholders on timely
  • To regularly visit field operation and work with programme staff to ensure a direct link between programme work and media
  • Participate in monthly meetings, present HA’s success stories across national forums,clusters.
  • Manage the publication and promotion of organizational materials, including the supervision of design and Periodic Program updates for sharing with relevant forums and ensure regular social media/website updates
  • To generate and oversee regular high quality media coverage of Human Appeal’s programme and operation.
  • To support international teams (Communications, Fundraising, Marketing and Programmes) on seasonal campaigns such as Ramadhan, Qurbani, Zakat and
  • To build and maintain excellent relationships with key media players, journalists and broadcasters.
  • To produce regular Situation Reports (Sit Reps) programme information (PIs), and media summaries during disasters/emergencies.
  • To train, coach and support HA’s staff and partners in-country in order to build their media and communication skills and
  • To develop and maintain a library of communication resource materials and products.

Qualification, Experience and Requirements:

  • Masters in    Journalism/Mass Communications/International      Relations/Media Sciences/International Development
  • Min 3 Years of Experience preferably in similar role with an NGO/INGO
  • MS Office, CorelDraw, Photoshop, MS Publisher Others as desired
  • English, Urdu (Compulsory)–Punjabi/Saraiki/Sindhi (Optional)
Job Title Driver
Department:  Operation
Position  Type:  Full Time
Contract: One Year (Extendable on need based) 
 Salary: PKR: 19,500/Per Month (On experience bases)

Location Rahimyar Khan

Position Summary

The position will facilitate field office Rahimyar Khan and the operations department to implement logistics and fleet plans according to instructions by supervisor. He is responsible for end to end smooth execution of travelling plan related to project/standard procedures.

Job Description:

  •  Drive official vehicle for transportation of authorized persons, whenever and wherever required.
  • Strictly observing traffic rules, regulations and laid down speed limit
  • Log all trips, daily mileage, and petrol consumption and keep the logbook up-to-date.
  • Receive/ drop visitors at airport(s) and then drive them to respective residence/ hotel/ guest house/ venue etc.
  • Check the electrical/ mechanical condition of assigned vehicle on daily basis, undertake minor repairs and report immediately the major repairs/ fault to Manager for further repair / maintenance.
  • Wash & clean his vehicle on daily/periodic bases and ensure timely servicing of the vehicle as and when necessary.
  • Promptly report accidents involving the vehicle in accordance with HA-Pak policy on this subject and as per local traffic laws.
  • Take responsibility for fueling/ refueling of the assigned vehicle.
  • Ensures availability of all the required documents/supplies including vehicle insurance, vehicle logs, first aid kit, and necessary spare parts.
  • Perform any other task assigned by Supervisor or his/her nominee.

Knowledge, Education, Skills, and Behaviors Required to Achieve Role’s Objectives:


  • Sound knowledge of basic problems of vehicles.
  • Sound knowledge of Traffic rules and regulations.
  • Sound knowledge of different areas of Sindh province
  • Sound knowledge of dealing

• Able to work with multi-culture staff/team members.
• Willingness to work over weekends and longer hours when required.
