Applications are invited from suitable candidates for appointment against the posts of PSDP funded Projects i.e. “Up-Gradation of National Special Education Centre for Visually Handicapped Children” and “Inclusive Education for Children with Disability in Public and Private Schools at ICT, Islamabad” under the Directorate General of Special Education, Islamabad purely on contract basis on lump sum pay as per provincial/regional quota mentioned against each post:-

Name of Post Qualification & Experience
Project Manager/Deputy Director i. 2nd class or Grade “C” Master Degree or equivalent qualification in Special Education/Education/ Social Work/ Sociology/Anthropology/Psychology
Diplomas or certificate in Special Education will be considered as additional qualification for Degree Holders other than Special Education
ii. Five years Experience of Planning/ Administrative/Supervision OR Teaching in the field of Special Education Work OR Sociology OR Anthropology
Ophthalmologist  i. MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council
ii. Postgraduate Higher Diploma in Ophthalmology with 04 years clinical experience in the specialty
Postgraduate Lower Diploma in Ophthalmology with 5 years clinical experience in the specialty
Social Case Worker/ Community
Out Reach Officer 
i. 2. class Master Degree or equivalent
qualification in Special Education OR Social Wor1, OR Sociology OR Anthropology
ii. 02 years post qualification experience in the relevant field
Physiotherapist  i. DPT/2n5 class or grade “C. Master Degree in Physiotherapy OR BSc in Physiotherapy
ii. 02 years post qualification experience in the relevant field
Optometrist  i. 04 years BSc (Hon) Degree in Optometry/Orthoptbs from any recognized College/ University
ii. A Minimum of 02 years experience as Optometrist
LT Expert i. 02 Class Master Degree in Computer
Science/ Information Technology Or equivalent qualification from a recognized University
ii. 02 years experience as computer and network expert from Govt, Semi Govt or any reputable organization
Assistant Graduate
Steno Typist i. Intermediate
ii. Minimum speed of 80/40 W.P.M in short hand / typing respectively ill Must be computer literate
UDC /Cashier Intermediate
Driver  i. Primary Pass
ii. Valid HTV driving license holder and well versed with traffic rules
Attendant Middle Pass
Naib Oasid  Primary Pass

Terms and Conditions

  1. The Selection shall be made purely on merit and on contract basis observing provincial / regional quota for a period upto 30th June, 2022, extendable further till the completion of the project.
  2. Application on the given prescribed format should reach the undersigned within 15 days of the publication of advertisement.
  3. Only short fisted candidates will be called for test/ The candidates called for interview will have to bring original documents along with attested copies of testimonials /experience certificate.
  4. Applicant working in Government, Semi Government organizations or autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel.
  5. Separate application should be submit for each Name of the post should be clearly mentioned in application as well as on the Envelop. Applications that are incomplete or received after due date will not be entertain..
  6. The general age relaxation of 5 years and others in upper age limit would be granted as admissible under the rules.
  7. No TA/DA shall be admissible for interview or for joining the post.
  8. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the applications without assigning any reason and cancel recruitment to any posts.
