A well renowned Chemicals Company based in Punjab requires the services of General Manager for their Plant. B.Sc. or M.Sc. (Mechanical Engineering) from a recognized university with 18-20 year experience, at least 4-5 year experience in a similar position preferably Chemicals / Petro-Chemical industry. Challenging position for those individuals who accept and meet the challenges, may apply in confidence. The candidate should have strong leadership, communication (written & oral), and administration skills. He must possess management capabilities to lead the Technical, Maintenance, Production and other teams. He will be responsible for monitoring, planning & controlling all the plant operations activities, analyzing the plant breakdown problems, taking necessary corrective actions to eliminate those problems and keeping the plant at high productivity. Be a problem solver, result oriented, good planner, good decision maker and team player. He will coordinate and conduct meetings with HODs for efficient & smooth operations of the whole organization and maintain healthy working environment between employees. Should be well versed with plant preventive & predictive maintenance. He will monitor performance of the team and ensure proper training & development of the staff wherever and whenever needed. Must have knowledge bout finance and Quality Management System. Awareness about applicable laws and Govt. policies regarding industries is necessary. Age 45-55 year.
