Institute of Space Technology (IST) invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the post of Junior Programmer (Information Technology Officer) (Networks Administration) (SPS-7-T) on contract basis as per the following details:-

IMPORTANT INFORMATION / APPLICATION GUIDELINES:

• All qualifications should only be from well reputed universities / institutions as recognized by the HEC / PEC where applicable
• First class in the final degree / qualification prescribed for the position is mandatory. Only one second division is allowed in entire academic career

• First class / division means a minimum of 60% marks for annual system of examination or minimum CGPA 2.5 out of 4.0 for semester system and second class / division means a minimum of 50% marks for annual system or minimum CGPA 2.0 out of 4.0 for semester system
• No third division in the entire academic career is allowed
• The selected candidate would be offered an attractive remuneration package commensurate to the IST’s Special Pay Scale (SPS)-7-T and all other perquisites, privileges, allowances and benefits admissible to the pay scale as per IST Service Statutes and Regulations / NCA ESR, 2011
• The age will be calculated on the closing date of applications. Age relaxation to exceptionally qualified candidates / ex-service personnel / government employees may be given as per rules
• Ex-armed forces personnel will be employed under Category-II. They should also submit attested photocopies of their armed forces discharge certificate / release / retirement order along with their application forms
• The position is Islamabad based only. Test and Interviews will be conducted at IST, Islamabad campus only
• Employees of Govt. / Semi Govt. / Autonomous organizations should apply “Through Proper Channel”. Advance copies are not acceptable / will not be considered
• The applications with academic qualifications / degrees and experience in the relevant field will be considered only
• Only short listed candidates as per merit would be called for written test / interviews
• Compliance to eligibility criteria for the position does not guarantee short listing for written test / interview
• If a large number of applications are received for the position then only the best suitable candidates would be called for written test / interview
• Applications submitted without attached attested photocopies of complete academic & experience documents and those received after the closing date would not be processed further / considered. Only hard copies will be accepted
• TA / DA will not be admissible for appearing in the written test / interview
• IST reserves the right to reject any or all of the applications received for the position without assigning any reason thereof
• IST reserves the right to postpone or cancel the recruitment / induction on the position at any stage without assigning any reason thereof
• The decision of the Institute in all matters regarding recruitment on the post would be final and binding, and no correspondence in this regard would be entertained
