Irrigation Department invites applications from suitable candidates who possess qualification mentioned against each post for the following contractual positions:-

Senior Water Resources Modeler

In case of contract employee, minimum of MP-III (including monetization) i.e. Rs. 230,885/- would be allowed. If vehicle is provided, the amount of monetization i.e. 65,060/- would be deducted; or BS-19 + Incentive Allowances vide letter No. FD.SR-1/9-10/2019 dated 31.12.2019 (in case of appointment by transfer).

Qualification: Master Degree (2nd Division) in Water Resources Engineering/ Hydraulics Engineering/ Engineering Hydrology having BSc Civil Engg./Agriculture Engineering as basic qualification from a recognized University.
Experience: Ten (10) years post BSc Engineering experience in water resources, having knowledge of GIS/IT/hydrological Models etc. knowledge of statistical analyses in hydrology, experience in scripting languages and good command on hydrological/hydraulic modelling tools like HEC-HMS, MIKE, HEC-RAS or any other etc.

Senior ASP.NET Developer

In case of contract employee, minimum of MP-III (including monetization) i.e. Rs. 230,885/- would be allowed. If vehicle is provided, the amount of monetization i.e. 65,060/- would be deducted; or BS-19 + Incentive Allowances vide letter No. FD.SR-1/9-10/2019 dated 31.12.2019 (in case of appointment by transfer).

Qualification: Master’s Degree (2nd Division) in Computer Science or BSc. (Hons) Computer Science (16 Years of Education) from a recognized University.

Experience: Five (5) year experience including web developer, knowledge of .NET Framework (3.5, 4.0, 4.5), C#, ASP .NET Web Forms and MVCS, Web Services, WCF, LINQ and Dynamic Websites, knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture, working experience with CSS(3.4), HTML, HTML5, AJAX, JQuery and JavaScript. Database Programming with MS SQL Server 2008 R2,2012, T-SQL and SSRS, advanced knowledge of Design Pattern and how they are used in Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Programming (OOP).

Electronic / Telecommunication Engineer

In case of contract employee, Pay Rs. 125,000/- per month or Pay & allowances of BS-17 + Incentive Allowances vide letter No. FD.SR-1/9-10/2019 (in case of appointment by transfer)
Qualification: B.Sc Electrical Engg. / Electronics / Telecommunication Engineering (2nd Division) from a recognized University.
Experience: Two (2) years in application in line and preferred knowledge of IT and Sensor Technology.

Junior Network Specialist

In case of contract employee, Pay Rs. 125,000/- per month or Pay & allowances of BS-17 + Incentive Allowances vide letter No. FD.SR-1/9-10/2019 (in case of appointment by transfer)

Qualification: Master Degree (2nd Division) in IT / System Network Analysis / CCNA / MCITP from a recognized University.

Experience: Two (2) years’ experience including Network Engineer/Specialist, basic Windows Troubleshooting skills, Server machines knowledge and experience of installation and configuration & storage management (depends on infrastructure detail after analysis phase). Knowledge of OS patches, upgrades, administrative tools, upgrade and configure system software that supports GIS infrastructure applications, network knowledge and implementation experience, familiaritوy with DB installations (MS SQL, Web Server, IIS management). Data backup, ability to grasp new skills quickly, efficient learner, MS Office, IIS 7.0, MS SQL 2008 and windows 2008 R2.

Technician

In case of contract employee, Pay Rs. 42,000/- per month
Qualification: Three (3) years Diploma of Associate Engineering (2nd Division) from a recognized university in Electronics/ Electronic Instruments/Communication.
Experience: One (1) year experiences of repair & maintenance of electronics equipments.

Driver

In case of contract employee, Pay Rs. 25,000/- per month Qualification: Middle.

Experience: Two (2) years’ experience in driving with valid LTV driving license and well versed in the traffic rules, able to drive different vehicles, able to work under pressure and for long duty hours and willing to move in field especially in remote areas.

The above positions are on contract basis upto June 30, 2022 under Contract Appointment Policy 2004 amended upto date. Applications should be submitted firstly online (mandatory). List of shortlisted candidates will be published on the website on 07-04-2021 (BS-17 & above) & 14-04-2021 (below BS 17).
