WOMEN MEDICAL OFFICER
i) MBBS Qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council/ Pakistan Medical Commission.
ii) Registered with Pakistan Medical and Dental Council/ Pakistan Medical Commission; and
iii) Has one year experience of regular House job.
Important Note :
i) The candidates applying for the post of Women Medical Officer should have passed their MBBS Examination and should have also completed one year House Job upto closing date fixed for submission of online applications to the Punjab Public Service Commission.
ii) Candidates shall produce certificate of Full Permanent Medical Registration from PMC/PMDC issued on or before the closing date for the purposes of eligibility of the post. However if PMDC/PMC Registration Certificates have not been issued so far; will be held eligible subject to the condition that such candidates shall have to produce documentary evidence that they have applied for such registration on or before the closing date.
iii) Candidates who had applied for renewal of their expired registration after the closing date shall also be held eligible.
iv) Provisional PMDC/ PMC registration certificate for house job shall not be acceptable for eligibility.

Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR PAEDIATRIC ANAESTHESIA

i) MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC/PMC;
ii) Registered with PMDC/PMC; and
iii) Has the postgraduate qualification of:
a) FCPS, MS, Diplomat American Board or equivalent qualification in Paediatric Anaesthesiology recognized by PMDC/PMC;
OR
b) FCPS, MS, Diplomat American Board or equivalent qualification in Anaesthesiology recognized by PMDC/PMC and one year experience in Paediatric Anaesthesiology before or after post-graduation in an institution recognized by PMDC/PMC;
OR
c) FCPS, MS, Diplomat American Board or equivalent Board or equivalent qualification in the subject of Anaesthesiology recognized by PMDC/PMC.
iv) Three years’s teaching or practical experience in Paediatric Anaesthesia before or after post-graduation in an institution recognized by PMDC/PMC;
OR
Three years’ teaching or practical experience in Anaesthesia after post-graduation in an institution recognized by PMDC/PMC.
Note:
i) Only teaching and practical experience shall be considered.
ii) Valid (full) Permanent Registration Certificate from the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council / Pakistan Medical Commission showing post-graduate qualification issued on or before the closing date.

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF PAEDIATRIC NEUROLOGY

i) MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC / PMC;
ii) Registered with the PMDC / PMC; and
iii) FCPS, MD, CCT, Diplomat American Board in Paediatric Neurology or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC / PMC.
If no such candidate is available with the aforesaid qualifications then FCPS (Paediatircs), MD (Paediatrics), MRCPCH, Diplomat American Board of Paediatrics or equivalent qualifications recognized by the PMDC / PMC with four years’ experience in Paediatric Neurology after post graduation in Paediatrics, which must include completion of training in Paediatrics Neurology Program accredited by a National Body (CPSP or University) / International Body from an institute recognized by the PMDC / PMC:
And if no such candidate is available with the aforesaid qualification, then FCPS (Paediatrics), MD (Paediatrics), MRCPCH, Diplomat American Board of Paediatrics or equivalent qualifications recognized by the PMDC / PMC with four years’ experience in Paediatric Neurology after post graduation in Paediatrics from an institute recognized by the PMDC / PMC.

i) Only Practical experience after the prescribed qualification shall be considered.
ii) Valid (full) Permanent Registration Certificate from the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council / Pakistan Medical Commission showing post-graduate qualification issued on or before the closing date.

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF PAEDIATRIC NEPHROLOGY

i) MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC / PMC;
ii) Registered with PMDC / PMC; and
iii) FCPS, MD, CCT, Diplomat American Board in Paediatric Nephrology or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC / PMC.
If no candidate is available with the aforesaid qualification, then FCPS (Paediatircs), MD (Paediatrics), MRCPCH, Diplomat American Board of Paediatrics or equivalent qualifications recognized by PMDC / PMC with four years experience in Paediatrics Nephrology after post-graduation in Paediatrics obtained in a training program accredited by a National Body (CPSP or University) or an International Body from an institute recognized by the PMDC / PMC:
And if no candidate is available with the aforesaid qualifications, then FCPS (Paediatrics), MD (Paediatrics), MRCPCH, Diplomat American Board of Paediatrics or equivalent qualifications recognized by PMDC / PMC with four years experience in Paediatrics Nephrology after post graduation in Paediatrics from institution recognized by the PMDC / PMC.

a) FCPS (Paed Radiology), MD (Paed Radiology), MRCP (Paed Radiology), Diplomat American Board in Paediatric Radiology or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC / PMC;
OR
b) FCPS (Radiology), MD (Radiology) or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC / PMC with one years experience after post-graduation in Paediatric Radiology from an institution recognized by PMDC / PMC.
iv) Three years experience in Paediatric Radiology after post-graduation in an institution recognized by PMDC / PMC.

LIBRARIAN

i) Master’s degree (second division) in Library and Information Sciences or equivalent qualification from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission; and

c) FCPS/MS/FRCS/Diplomat American Board or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC/PMC and Govt. of the Punjab in Urology, with one year experience after postgraduation in Paediatrics Urology in an institution recognized by PMDC/PMC.
iv) Three years teaching / practical experience after postgraduation in Paediatric Urology in an institution recognized by PMDC/PMC.

In case a candidate claims that his/her qualification is equivalent to the prescribed qualification, he/she will be required to submit equivalence certificate of his/her foreign/local qualification, issued by the Competent Authority of HEC/PMDC/PMC/PEC & QEDC of concerned Administrative Department, which will be accepted by the Commission as Final, at the time of interview or whenever asked by the Commission. If a candidate fails to submit Equivalence Certificate issued by the Competent Authority at the time of interview or whenever asked by the Commission, his/her candidature shall be cancelled.
4. In case, a candidate claims experience of private firm / entity, he / she must bring proof at the time of interview that the firm /entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms or any other Regulatory Authority, failing which his / her application shall be rejected. Candidate must provide proof of registration showing that the concerned private entity had the status of a registered body during the period of experience claimed by the candidate.
5. The candidates will ensure that after applying for a particular post they will immediately apply for Departmental Permission Certificate/NOC in their concerned Department(s) and provide the Departmental Permission Certificate/NOC at the time of interview (if called).
6. The candidates just after applying for a particular post advertised by PPSC will ensure that they have obtained/applied for registration in PEC/PNC/PMDC/PMC/PVMC or other relevant body for Registration Certificate on or before the Closing Date and provide the same at the time of interview (if called).
7. The candidates will ensure that they will provide marks obtained / total marks or percentage certificate of all degrees, issued by the Competent Authority, at the time of interview.
