Applications are invited for filling the following posts in the Project of “Strengthening of Planning, Development, Monitoring and Evaluation Directorate (SPD&ME) Ministry of Railways, Islamabad”.

Post Requirements
Director/ Monitoring &   Evaluation Masters in Project Management/ Management/ Engineering with Bachelors Degree in Engineering discipline recognized by HEC
Over all 12 years post-qualification experience of Managing, Monitoring and Evaluation of public sector projects.
Experience of managing foreign collaboration projects will be given preference.
Must have expertise in advanced software i.e. PMES, Prima Vera and MS project along with hands on knowledge of project cycle of MPDSI.
Deputy Director/Legal Law Graduate from a University recognized by HEC or recognized from International University. preferably LLM
Over all 7 years post-qualification experience in the field of International, Corporate Law with minimum of 2 years’ experience in PPP’s projects.
Expertise in drafting of Agreements, negotiating PPP’s/Concession Agreements.
Contracts and other legal instruments.
Must have computer knowledge in MS Word. Excel and Power Point.
Deputy Director/Infrastructure B.E/ B.Sc. Civil Engineering recognized by HEC. Additional Qualification In Project Management will be preferred
Over all 7 years post-qualification experience with minimum of 2 years’ experience in PSDP of Managing, Monitoring and Evaluation of projects.
Must be familiar with public sector development projects.
Must have experience in Monitoring Civil/ Infrastructure projects in PSDP.
Must have expertise in advanced software i.e. PMES, Prima Vera and MS project along with hands on knowledge of project cycle of MPDSI.
Deputy Director/ Rolling Stock B.E/ Mechanical Engineering recognized by HEC. Additional Qualification In Project Management will be preferred.
Over all 7 years post-qualification experience with minimum of 2 years’ experience in PSDP of Managing, Monitoring and Evaluation of projects.
Must be familiar with public sector development projects.
Must have experience in Monitoring Rolling Stock projects in PSDP.
Must have expertise in advanced software i.e. PMES, Prima Vera and MS project along with hands on knowledge of project cycle of MPDSI.
Deputy Director/ Land B.E/ Town/ Urban Planning or any related area recognized by HEC.
Over all 7 years post-qualification experience with minimum of 2 years’ experience related to Planning and Execution of Land Development or Real Estate projects.
Use of advanced software related to Land Management and Development will be given additional weightage.
Deputy Director/ Economic Appraisal MSc (Economics) or MS (Finance) recognized by HEC.
Over all 7 years post-qualification experience with minimum of 2 years’ experience related to Appraisal of PPP’s projects.
Must be familiar with public sector project management.
Hands on experience of Prima Vera P6 or MS project will be additional weightage.

  1. The appointment will be purely on contract basis for a period of two years, which could be considered for extension on satisfactory performance during the initial period and maximum up to the completion of the project.
