Applications are invited from competent professionals having domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for appointment against project positions in the project “Access to Clean Energy-Solarization of 8000 Schools and 187 BHU’s in KPK” under PEDO.
Requisite Qualification and Experience for the posts are as under:-

| Manager Admin & Finance | • CA (Inter)/ACMA/CFA/ACCA/MBA (Finance)/ M.Com/ MPA (Finance)/ 16 Years education in Commerce/Accounting/Finance from HEC recognized university/Institution. • At least 7 years of Post-Qualification professional work experience in relevant field i.e. Finance & administration with at least 02 years’ Managerial level relevant experience. • Prior experience of working in donor funded and public sector projects, provincial Finance Department, Auditor General of Pakistan Office, Office of Accountant General, and planning Department experience will be given preference. • Maximum Age limit is 40 years |
| Manager Procurement & Contract | • Bachelor’s Degree in (Civil/Electrical/Electronics/ Mechanical) from HEC recognized university/registered with PEC. • At least 7 years of Post-Qualification Professional work experience in relevant field i.e. Procurement & contract management with at least 02 years’ Managerial level relevant experience. • Prior experience of working in donor funded and public sector projects, knowledge of procurement procedures, evaluation, tendering, estimation, contract negotiation, claims handling will be given preference. • Maximum Age limit is 40 years |
| Regional Manager (Planning, Design, Monitoring & implementation) |
• Bachelor’s Degree (16 years Education) in engineering (Civil/Electrical/Electronics/ Mechanical) from HEC recognized university/registered with PEC. • At least 7 years of Post-Qualification professional work experience in relevant field i.e. Planning, Design, Monitoring and Implementation of solar projects with at least 02 years’ Managerial level experience in public/government sector Solar Projects. • Prior experience of working in donor funded and public sector projects, knowledge of project management fundamentals, GoKP & GOP Planning and Management procedures will be given preference. • Maximum Age limit is 40 years |
Instructions & General Conditions
- Applicants are advised to read the following instructions carefully before filling the “PEDO Applicant Data Form” available on the PEDO website
- Duly filled & signed Application Data Form along with updated CV/resume and attested copies of testimonials (CNIC, All Educational Certificates/degrees, Experience Certificates, 02 Passport size photographs and other supporting documents) to be sent by registered courier company before the closing date of applications.
- Applications complete in all respects must reach the office of the undersigned not later than 17th August, 2020. By hand Applications, those received after due date and applications with incomplete information & lack of testimonials will not be considered at all.
- Clearly mark the position applied for in the Subject line/Envelope and shall send separate application/envelope for each post.
- Relevant experience with the Government/Semi-Government or Reputable Private Sector organizations will be considered
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. Shortlisting shall be carried out on the basis of selection criteria duly approved by the PEDO Board
- Government/Semi Government employees shall send their applications through proper channel
- Selection of Contractual and regular employees already working in PEDO in the ongoing developmental projects or against regular positions shall be subject to No Objection Certificate from the PEDO Board.
- Appointment will be on contract basis extendable on yearly basis till the completion of the project, subject to satisfactory performance. In case of unsatisfactory performance, service can be terminated by the organization with 15 days’ prior notice.
- The posts being advertised are purely project positions and will stand automatically abolished on completion of the projects.
- PEDO reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel any/all posts at any time during the recruitment process.
- All appointments will be subject to approval of PC-1 from the competent forum and availability of funds.
