Applications are invited from the Candidates of 1(13 for the following post mentioned below in Khyber Teaching Hospital (MTI) Peshawar.

Name of Posts Qualification / Criteria
Intensivist MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC. Candidate should have completed FCPS or equivalent qualification in intensive care OR FCPS or equivalent qualification in medicine or pulmonology or Anesthesia with 3 years experience in intensive care unit after post graduation qualification.
Director Accident & Emergency MBBS or Equivalent Medical Qualification recognized by PM&DC.
Fellowship in emergency medicine with most preferably FCPS in emergency Medicine or equivalent per PMDC as level III equivalent qualification, like FRCEM (Fellow of Royal College of emergency Medicine), FACEM ( Fellow of Australian College of emergency Medicine) or DABEM (Diploma American Board of Emergency Medicine).
OR
Level III or equivalent qualification in primary Clinical specialty like medicine, surgery and Anesthesia OR
Level II B qualification in EM (Emergency Medicine) like MRCEM (Membership in Royal College of Emergency Medicine) can also apply for the post.
Candidate must have 2 years of experience in A&E department of a reputable Hospital after post-graduation qualification in emergency medicine.
OR
Candidate having Primary qualification than 3 Years’ experience in A&E department of a reputable Hospital after post- graduation The candidates having ACLS and ATLS will be given preference.
The job is not limited to Administrative duties but the selected candidate will also be involved in clinical side and patient care.
Anesthetist MBBS or equivalent qualification from a recognized institute; and FCPS or equivalent postgraduate qualification (Level-III) in anesthesia recognized by the PMDC:

Diploma in anesthesia (Level-II b) from a recognized institute with at least three years’ experience in the relevant field. (Candidates with qualification at (iii) shall be considered only when suitable
candidate with the qualification at (ii) above is not available.
Assistant Anesthetist MBBS or Equivalent Medical Qualification recognized by PM&DC Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in Anesthesia.
Audiometrician B.Sc with Physics as one of the subject from a recognized University with 1 year experience as Audiometrician in a Medical Institution/ organization.
Biochemist M.Sc /B. S 4 years (Bio-chemistry/Microbiology) at least 2nd division from a recognized university.
Biotechnologist M.Sc in Biotechnology or equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Candidates with computer know how shall be preferred
Optometrist BSc. Vision science or equivalent qualification from recognized university

  1. Applications accompanied with complete bio-data and academic / experience / domicile certificates along with 02 photographs and CNIC photocopy duly attested must reach to the Human Resource Department. MTI-KTH. Peshawar not later than 3rd September 2020 on a prescribed Job Application form. Job Application form is available can be downloaded from KTH website
  2. Applicants applying for the post accompany their Application form with Rs. 1000/- bath draft (non-refundable) as processing fee in favor of Hospital Director MT1/KTH Account No. 5761. Bank of Khyber Main Branch Code 0121.
  3. Experience Marks will be given to only those candidates who have documentary proof of experience in relevant subject / field.
  4. Experience mentioned in the application form must be supported with documents i-e experience certificates & service certificates (in case of latest job), failing so will lead to non- consideration of experience for the particular position. No documents will be accepted / changed after closing date. Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
  5. All experience will be counted after the requisite academic degrees, certificates have been received.
  6. Equivalency certificate from HEC Pakistan to be provided by applicants in case of foreign qualifications. In progress certificates/degree/programs will not be considered.
  7. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Short listing will be done by pre-interview marks or written test.
  8. Their services will be governed, under the Khyber Pakhtunkhxva Medical & Teaching Institutions Reform Act 2015 and as amended from time to time.
  9. If the closing date fixed for the receipt of application form falls on an official holiday, the next working day shall be considered as the closing date.
  10. An application after the closing time and date shall stand rejected.
  11. All recruitment will be done on merit basis. Therefore, any reason to influence the process will make candidate liable for rejection from selection process.
  12. Any Civil Servant if selected shall resign from civil service.
  13. Person of the Age of 60 or beyond will not be eligible for the post
  14. The Scrutiny Committee shall be competent to reject applications which are incomplete. However, the aggrieved candidates can appeal to the competent forum of MT1- KTH for review. The decision of the competent forum there of shall be final.
  15. Any candidate may be disqualified or excluded from interview if he/ she was;
  16. Convicted by the court of law.
  17. Dismissed from public service.
  18. Knowingly furnishes any false information.
  19. Suppresses any information which may lead to his/ her disqualification.
  20. c) Attempts to obtain support for his/ her (candidature by improper means).
  21. Submits forged certificates.
  22. Tempers with the entries in his/ her age and academic certificates.
  23. Misbehaves in the interview.
  24. Original documents should be produced at the time of interview.
  25. No TA/DA is allowed for Test / Interview.
  26. Written statement on judicial stamp paper will be taken from selected candidates that they will not approach any office or court of law for regularization of their service.
  27. The Competent Authority has the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies.
  28. Minority and disable quota will be followed as per rules.
