Pakistan Cricket Board, engaged in promoting and developing the game of cricket in Pakistan and maintaining general control of the game, is seeking dynamic individuals for the following positions:

  • Director High Performance
  • Head High Performance Coaching
  • Head International Player Development
  • High Performance Operations Manager

Requisite experience must be in line with the job descriptions.

The Qualification and Experience required for the above positions is as under:-

Director High Performance

Job Purpose:

The Director High Performance is responsible for overseeing and providing strategic leadership and direction to the game-wide high performance system that identifies, develops and prepares world class cricketers for the senior Pakistan Men’s team; this will include the national high performance centre, the international player development programmes, domestic cricket, regional centres of excellence and the coaches and practitioners supporting in the system.

This role is not a hands-on coaching role.

Requirements:

You will require an extensive experience and understanding of:

  • Minimum Level II Cricket Coaching Accreditation or international equivalent (while this is not a coaching role an understanding is required).
  • Test / International Cricketers would be preferred, however first class cricketers having more than 15 years’ experience may also apply
  • Operating at a senior executive leadership level
  • Accountable for preparing extensive budgets and managing day-to-day finances
  • Performance management and monitoring of staff
  • Experience of personally developing a strategic framework that supports the development of world class athletes
  • Strong planning, organizing and executing capabilities.
  • Highly competent in planning team / individual skills enhancement strategies.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with problem solving skills.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office) is a must

Head High Performance Coaching

Job Purpose:

The Head of High Performance Coaching is responsible for raising the standard of coaching support to the most talent players, and for ensuring that the Regional network is aligned behind the national strategy

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level III Cricket Coaching Accreditation or international equivalent.
  • At least (5) years working experience in a similar role with elite cricketers / national or international teams.
  • Strength in analysis and the ability to communicate and engage with coaches
  • Strong planning, organizing and executing capabilities.
  • Highly competent in planning individual skills enhancement strategies
  • Proven experience in monitoring and evaluating coaching systems and processes currently in vogue at international arena.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively work with a wide range of individuals from varied backgrounds.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite) is a must.

Head International Player Development

Job Purpose:

The Head of International Player Development is responsible for comprehensively identifying, developing and preparing players so that they become world class cricketers for the senior Pakistan Men’s team

Requirements:

  • Level III Cricket Coaching Accreditation or international equivalent.
  • An ex-International cricketer with at least (5) years working experience with an international team.
  • Experience and evidence through case studies, of successfully developing and supporting cricketers to excel at International level.
  • Strong planning, organizing and executing capabilities.
  • Highly competent in planning individual skills enhancement strategies.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively work with a wide range of individuals from varied backgrounds.
  • Strong persuasion skills combined with integrity and professionalism.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with problem solving skills.

 

High Performance Operations Manager

Job Description

Pakistan Cricket Board is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and energetic individual to manage the day to day operations of the High Performance Center and to help in implementing strategies devised by the PCB Management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from a reputed institution
  • At least (05) years working experience in Administration / Operational role.
  • Possessing strong analytical skills
  • Provide support in, planning, provision & allocation of resources.
  • Create, and maintain, records / database of relevant information relating to national and domestic players.
  • Interact, and provide relevant information /reports, on a regular basis to the Management.
  • Execution of Development Programs.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong management skills.
  • Excellent Administrative skills combined with integrity, prudence and professionalism.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite) is a must
